For Admin and instructor
After adding the section, you can start adding the related sessions.
To add a session
- From the Course Map, select the section where you want to add your session.
- Click
, and then click Add Session as in the following figure.
- The Add Session page opens where you can add a normal or a live session.
Adding Normal Session
- In the Add Session dialog box, enter the session’s title, date, time, and duration.
- Select Normal Session from the Session Type section, and then type the session objectives in the Objectives
- You can map the session to one of the competencies predefined in the system by clicking Map to Competencies.

You can map the session only to one of the competencies that were linked in the system database to the same category and grade as those of the course where the session is being created. You can also map the session to the competency mapped to either the category or grade as those of the course where the session is being created or to one of the competencies that were not linked in the database to a specific category or grade.
- From the Add Competencies dialog box, click the arrow next to the competency you want to map to the session.
- Select the check box corresponding to the competency you want to map to the session, and then click Add Competencies as in the figure below.
- You can add a file that contains the session plan through one of the following:

- Attaching a file that you have previously prepared by clicking Add Session Plan, and then selecting Add File as in the figure below to upload the file from your machine.
- Selecting one of the form templates created by the Administrator to be used as a session plan by clicking Add Session Plan, and then selecting Select Template as in the figure below.

- From the Add Session Plan dialog box, under Select Template, click the template you want to use, and then click Next

To find a template, it must be created on the same grade and years of experience as those of the course where the session is being added.
- Click Next to fill in the template sections.
- Once you are done with filling in the session plan’s template, click Save to add the session plan.
- From the Add Session Plan dialog box, under Select Template, click the template you want to use, and then click Next

The session plan can be viewed in the Course Info only by the instructors assigned to teach the course, by training coordinators, as well as by the Administrators. |
7. You can address a voice note to the attendees related to this session by clicking Voice Note.

After adding the session, you should activate it in order for the trainees to be able to view the session by clicking Activate from the Plan tab. |

Adding Live Session
- In the Add Session dialog box, enter the session’s title, date, time, and duration.
- Under Session Type, click Live Session.

- The live session enables you to communicate with the trainees and course members live at the date and time you specify. The trainee has to watch the session at the same time and date in order to view it live.
- The Administrator can invite members that are not registered in the system to join a live lecture.
- Click Activate to allow activating the session, and allowing it live for the trainees.
- Once the session’s date and time are due, the session shall be available for the trainees to follow.
Invite External users
- You can invite external users, who are not registered in the system, to attend this live session by clicking the Invite External Users to join Live Lesson
- From the Invite dialog box, type the e-mail addresses of the users you want to invite to the session, and then click Invite. Users receive an invitation to the session on their e-mail addresses.
- You can also invite members who are registered in the system but not necessarily members of the same organization as yours by clicking and then clicking Copy Link as in the following figure. You can send the link to the users to let them access the live session.

Users invited to attend the live session can watch a recording of the session in case the Administrator recorded it while being live. Recordings are available through the session page after it is finished. |
