Add Session Material

For Admins and Instructors

After finalizing the session’s creation, the Administrator can start adding its material.

To add the content of a session 

  1. Click  at the bottom of the session’s page, or at the right side of the session’s page. The Add Material dialog box opens.


    1. In the Add Material dialog box, select the material type, then click Add.
  2. In the Add Material dialog box, enter the material details, and then click Add.



    Assigning Session Material to Specific Trainees

    You can assign the added material to specific Trainees. In this case, only the specified trainees can view and access that material.

    To assign material to specific trainees

    • In the Add Material dialog box, choose the type of material you want to add.
    • Under the Assign to trainees section, click Specific trainees.

    • In the Assign to the trainees dialog box that opens, click the check box next to the desired trainee., and then click Save.

    • Managing Sessions Material

      You can manage the session’s materials by clicking next  to the material you want to manage as in the following figure.

      Through the Manage Material dialog box, you can perform any of the following operations, according to the material type.

      Note

      The material management operations differ according to the material type; the following operations are all the operations that you may find.

      Copy link

      To copy the link of material and you can be shared it with other users

      Edit

      To edit material, click Edit in the Manage Material menu.

      Download Material

      To download a copy of the material to your PC, click Download in the Manage Material menu.

      Copy Material

      You can copy the material you added to another course, or space.

      To copy the material to another course

      • In the Manage Material menu, click Copy.
      • From the Copy Material dialog box, click Courses.

      • From the Copy Material dialog box, select the course where you want to copy the material.

      • From the Copy Material dialog box, select the round where you want to copy the material.

      • From the Copy Material dialog box, select the session where you want to copy the material.


        1. In the Material Properties dialog box, provide the material properties and then click Copy. The material is added to the location you chose.
      • To copy the material to a space

        1. In the Manage Material menu, click Copy.

        2. From the Copy Material dialog box, click Spaces.

        3. From the Copy Material dialog box, select the space where you want to copy the material.

        4. From the Copy Material dialog box, select the folder where you want to copy the material.

          1. In the Material Properties dialog box, provide the material properties and then click Copy. The material is added to the location you chose.
        5. Activating the Session

          After adding the session material, you need to activate the session in order for the trainees to be able to access it.

          To activate the session

          • From the Plan tab in the course page, click Activate at the right side of the page.

          • In the Activate Session dialog box, view the session date and time, and then click Activate. Now the trainees are able to access the session.

  • Delete Material

    To delete a material you added, click Delete in the Manage Material menu.
