For Admin and Instructors
The Course Home tab displays the course homepage as in the figure below.
Through the homepage, the Administrator can view the following:
- Leaderboard: that displays the list of awarded trainees.
- Storage Quota: Each course has a storage quota. At the top banner of each course page, you can view the storage capacity occupied by the course.
This storage quota is affected by the content you add to a course. Each time you add content to a course, the storage capacity of that course decreases according to the size of the added content. Content types that affect the storage quota of a course are:
- Files added from the Home page through members sharing.
- Contents added to the sessions of the course such as files and videos.
- Contents added during the creation of activities; such as assessments, quizzes, and in-class activities. Such content is represented by SCORM files and questions with image and video attachments.
- Copied contents added to courses.
- Course Info: that displays the information previously entered by the Administrator. In case no information was provided, this section is empty.
To check information about the course or edit the existing information, the Administrator can click
on top of the course homepage. The system displays the Course Info page where he can edit the course-related information by clicking
next to the information section that requires editing as in the figure below.
Notes
- The icon exists next to the sections you can edit.
- The Course Tags provide the keywords that can be used to search for the course in the course catalog
- The Course Prerequisites are any other courses that should be acquired by the trainee before joining this course.
- The Course Objectives section allows adding files that can be viewed by the course Instructor and the Training Coordinator by clicking next to the Course Objectives section, then clicking.
- The Competencies
- Access Code: that the Administrator sends to the trainees to allow them to join the course.
- Post an Updates: listing all the updates and posts shared by the course members regarding the course. The Administrator can also share his posts and updates through this section, and comment on any of the updates and posts shared by the course members. Through this section, you can do the following:
- Share an update by typing it in Post an update box, and clicking Post.
- Share a file by clicking Add File at the bottom of Post an update
- Share a voice update by clicking
- Comment on one of the post updates by clicking
, typing the reply, and then clicking
- Expressing your opinion regarding one of the updates by using
- Editing or deleting the reply by clicking
then Edit or Delete.
- Ungraded Assessments: listing the assessments submitted by the trainees and that are not graded yet.
- Upcoming Assessments: listing the due assessments that should be submitted by the trainees.
