Manage Session

For Admin and Instructor

You can control the session by clicking  at the right side of the page. The Manage Session list opens, and you can perform the operation you want as in the following figure.

Through the Manage Session list, you can perform the following operations.

Editing Session

To update any of the session information, click Edit.

Move Session within Section

You can change the order of a session within the same section. This option is only available for Self-paced courses.

To change the session order within the same section

  1. From the Manage Session menu, click Move session between sections.

  2. In the Move session between sections dialog box, use the arrows at the top right of the window to change the order of the session, and then click Save.

Deleting Session

To delete the session, click Delete.

Copying Session

To make a copy of the session to use it in other courses or rounds, click Copy to.

To copy a session

  1. From the Manage Session list, click Copy to; the Copy Session dialog box opens.

  2. From the Copy Session dialog box, select the check boxes beside the courses or rounds you want to copy this session to.
  3. Click Copy to complete copying the session to the selected course or round.

Viewing Session Details

To view the dates and times when the session was created, activated, and modified, click Show Details.

Moving Sessions between Sections

You can move the session from one section to the other by clicking Move Sessions between Sections.


  • In the Move Session between Sections dialog box, use the arrows at the top right of the dialog box to move the session to the section you want, and then click Save.

Approving Session

To approve the session, click Approve; the system displays a message stating that the session is approved.

The approval details are displayed under the session’s name, as shown in the following figure.

Deactivating Session

To deactivate an activated session, click Deactivate.
